The ELD automatically records the driving time when the vehicle is in motion by setting duty status to driving for the driver unless, before the vehicle is in motion, the driver has set the duty status to off-duty and indicates personal use of CMV, in which case duty status must remain off-duty until driver’s indication of the driving condition ends.
Events such as Power On, Power Off, Driving and OnDuty are automatically created when connecting to a device. Auto events created were recorded and displayed on the Events history list indicated with a note “Automatic Transition”.
(These events are also displayed in the Portal)
If vehicle remains stationary for five minutes, a dialog will display asking if you would like to change your status to OnDuty (Not Driving). Not responding it within one minute will automatically be changed to OnDuty ND.
Auto OnDuty ND event created is recorded and displayed on the Events history list indicated with a note “Automatic Transition”.
To view all the auto created events (primary or secondary events) when connecting to a device, tap on the ‘Show all events’ checkbox to enable.
To hide all the secondary events (including VBUS Connected/VBUS Disconnected remarks), tap back on the checkbox to disable.
A Remark will be recorded with a note “Authenticate” to the events history list if Driver will login to app.
• A Remark will be recorded with a note “Unauthenticate” if driver will logout from app.
• When app is successfully connected to the VBUS Device, the following will be recorded on the event’s history list:
o an ELD Login event with a note “ELD Connection”
o a Remark with the note “VBUS Connected”
• When driver manually disconnects the VBUS Device, the following will be recorded on the event’s history list:
o an ELD Logout event with a note “ELD Disconnection”
o a Remark with the note “VBUS Disconnected”
Note: The graph-grid overlay periods of driver’s indications of authorized personal use of CMV and yard moves using a different style line (such as the dashed or dotted line in amber color).
